In my newsletter last Friday, I wrote about Jane Graverol—a favourite Belgian Surrealist and an artist whose ornithological Surrealism remains erotic and haunting. I was compelled to write about her after seeing one of my favourite works of hers at Mayfair’s Richard Saltoun Gallery, a space with a dedicated ongoing series titled Unveiled Desires: Fetish & The Erotic in Surrealism, 1880 - Today, and kick off the first instalment of my Exhibition Diary, a new regular series.
